Cutting Taxes for Beaver County Families
Congressman Altmire cut taxes for nearly 75,000 Beaver County families this year by voting for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. With Americans struggling to make ends meet during this economic recession, this tax cut will provide tax relief to 95 percent of working families. Improving Health Care in Beaver County
Congressman Altmire secured $333,000 in the FY 2009 federal budget to help Heritage Valley Health System in Beaver develop an electronic health records system that can be accessed by physicians at different sites. Meeting with the Beaver County Chamber of Commerce

As Chairman of a House Small Business Subcommittee, Altmire has consistently worked to lower taxes and increase resources for small business owners and local entrepreneurs.

Helping the Monaca Police Department Purchase Needed Equipment
Congressman Jason Altmire secured $100,000 in federal funding to help the Monaca Police Department upgrade its equipment. This upgraded technology will make police operations more efficient and improve public safety in Beaver County.
